Amazing Angels Home Health and Hospice, LLC is the dream of sisters Barbara Sims and DeAnna Willis. Both were raised by their grandparents in a small Kansas town, but after their grandmother died when the girls were just 10 and 11 years old, they found themselves moving from one home to another. Their journey inspired a lifetime of dedication to caring for others, and careers for both in nursing.

Barbara’s 20+ years in the health care field gave her the experience and training she needed, as well as an even deeper compassion for those in need.

In addition to time spent in traditional nursing, DeAnna’s career took her into the mental health field, where she spent years caring for troubled youths who had been victims of violence, abuse and neglect.

Early on, both Barbara and DeAnna developed a profound respect for family members who balance caretaking with all of their other overwhelming responsibilities, and they wanted to find a way to help.

Thus Amazing Angels was born. Not only could Barbara and DeAnna ease the stress on the family caretakers, they could also develop strong personal relationships with each patient that would help them provide the kind of medical, emotional and spiritual care every family wants, while allowing the patient to stay at home for as long as possible.
