Amazing Angels Home Health and Hospice, LLC is a Medicare-certified home health provider, caring for people of all ages. We handle everything from wound care to hospice care, and employ a highly trained, experienced team. Skilled Nurses
Our Registered Nurses visit regularly to provide the same high quality care you might receive in a hospital. 24-hour nursing can also be arranged. Here are just a few of the ways our Registered Nurses can serve you:

  • Examination of all physiologic systems, including heart, lungs, skin, urinary, bowel and endocrine
  • Evaluation and treatment of wounds, including changing bandages
  • Monitoring of circulation for patients in casts
  • Treatment and care for bed sores, diabetic ulcers, or burns
  • IV Therapy and prescribed injections
  • Tracheostomy care
  • Drawing lab samples
  • Explanation and training for patients about diagnoses, medication, and at-home treatments such as self-catheterization, self-administration of gastrostomy feedings, oxygen therapy, colostomy care, enteral feedings, and many other care-related issues

Physical Therapists
Our physical therapists visit to help patients recover from injury or surgery, to get them back to maximum mobility and health. Here are some of the ways our PTs can help:

  • Therapeutic exercises to increase strength, range of motion, gait training and balance coordination
  • Training in endurance, functional ability, prosthetic adoption and activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Establishing an exercise program, and/or a maintenance program that is safe and effective
  • Muscle re-education and spasticity reduction
  • Additional services including hot packs, ultrasound treatments and fabrication of temporary devices

Speech / Language Pathologists
Our speech/language pathologists spend most of their time helping those who are dealing with a health issue that is their speech or their ability to swallow. Examples include amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), Parkinson’s disease, head and neck cancers, multiple sclerosis, vocal cord nodules, and other neuromuscular disorders.

Social Workers
These professionals provide incredible value to our patients and their families because they can help them navigate the sometimes-complicated world of health care. Here are just a few of the ways our social workers can assist you:

  • Help finding, renting or purchasing medical equipment
  • Counseling for long-range planning and decision making, including long-term care options
  • Locating community resources such as Meals on Wheels, transportation, and prescription assistance
  • Deciphering and explaining medical bills, insurance claims or other financial account management issues

Occupational Therapists
An occupational therapist’s job is to help you develop adaptive techniques to restore mobility and function following an accident, injury or surgery, or as a result of other health decline. Our OT's provide a variety of services, including:

  • Designing, fabrication and fitting orthotic and self-help devices
  • Training in adaptive techniques to restore or enhance function related to activities of daily living (ADL)
  • Assisting with sensory integration, energy conservation, work simplification, and joint protection

Home Health Aides
In between skilled nursing visits, many of our patients need help with daily living tasks, or would appreciate some companionship or help with errands and outings. That’s where our certified home health aids are a lifesaver! Here just a small sample of the ways they can serve their patients:

  • Assistance with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming
  • Light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming
  • Meal preparation & feeding
  • Errands, including personal and grocery shopping
  • Medication reminders and appointment scheduling
  • Monitoring of fluid intake
  • Companionship, as well as accompanying patients on various outings
  • Emergency care

Hospice and Palliative Care
Hospice and Palliative care is for people, young and old, who are nearing the end of their lives through heart disease, dementia, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease or any other life-limiting condition. We take an approach that focuses on improving quality of life for anyone dealing with a life-limiting illness. Our goal is to reduce or eliminate pain and other physical symptoms, and assist both the patient and family with emotional and spiritual needs.
